As a ‘future’ focused’ school, Edgemead Primary recognises and acknowledges that leadership is getting younger.

All our children have the capacity for personal leadership which must be nurtured and developed during their time at our school through the various opportunities available to every child.

In addition to focusing on managing tasks, a core area for development will be to enable our student leaders to positively influence their peers in order to be a most effective leader.

Leaders know their strengths and work hard to develop their weaknesses – in line with our motto ‘Nil sine Labore’ – Nothing without Hard Work.

At Edgemead Primary School we will strive to develop in our student leaders, positive habits grounded in a value system that will guide their thinking so that they can make the right choices when having to make a decision.

Ultimately our student leaders must lead from the heart and uphold the golden rule – to honour God, and self and school.

We congratulate all our student leaders in the various capacities for being elected to lead this year. As a ‘future’ focused’ school, Edgemead Primary recognises and acknowledges that leadership is getting younger.
